Weekly Photo Challenge: Eerie Gravensteen Castle

To make Ghent’s Gravensteen Kasteel (Castle) more spooky they have turned it into a medieval torture museum.

To make my photos more eerie I have played around with most of them in PhotoShop Express, a free app from Adobe. (The original photos, in colour but almost black and white, are at the bottom.)

Unretouched photo of Al coming down the dark staircase; this was kind of eerie all by itself, especially with the greenish light.

The two top photos had the Autumn ‘Look’ applied which adds a darkish vignette around the images and turn the colours sulfurous yellow. All three photos then had the Dream ‘Look’ applied… sort of nightmarish, no?  Gravensteen Castle Gravensteen Castle Gravensteen at night
