To make Ghent’s Gravensteen Kasteel (Castle) more spooky they have turned it into a medieval torture museum.
To make my photos more eerie I have played around with most of them in PhotoShop Express, a free app from Adobe. (The original photos, in colour but almost black and white, are at the bottom.)
Unretouched photo of Al coming down the dark staircase; this was kind of eerie all by itself, especially with the greenish light.
The two top photos had the Autumn ‘Look’ applied which adds a darkish vignette around the images and turn the colours sulfurous yellow. All three photos then had the Dream ‘Look’ applied… sort of nightmarish, no?
