Weekly Photo Challenge: Sea Grasses

I’m fascinated by the sea grasses that grow alongside the ocean. Looking through these photos I just realized that most of the grasses grow in estuaries, where rivers meets the sea, forming tidal inlets that are rich in life. Grasses seem to like to grow on dunes as well. Here is a selection from the Pacific coast.
